Julie did a fantastic piece of work to support the University of Reading’s Internationalisation Plan. It assessed brand positioning, the role of rankings, competitor activity and strategy, and gave clear recommendations as to the kinds of areas that we needed to think about. Those recommendations are now in place, such was the gravitas of her report and her writing style.
Julie manages to convey all of her years of experience, along with really detailed research, in such a way that you feel you are being guided along by an expert friend rather than ‘instructed’ by a consultant. Her institutional experience is critical in internal credibility, but even without that, just a few minutes into meeting her would demonstrate that she is the kind of consultant you wish you could have on your team all day, every day.
She is professional, insightful and does what she says she will do. More importantly to me, she is approachable, intelligent and really makes me laugh.
